Application Procedure

The application procedure depends entirely on your country of residence and your current degree. Please select the correct profile below to apply for the 2027-2028 academic year.

1. French Students or French Degree Holders

French applicants and foreign applicants currently holding a French degree must apply exclusively through the national Mon Master platform.

Timeline: Applications will open around the end of February 2027.

2. Applicants from a "CEF" Country

If your country of residence is listed below, you must apply through the Etudes en France platform. No other application mode is possible.

Timeline: Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year will open in Fall 2026. The application deadline is set to the end of 2026 (deadlines vary slightly by country, so please check the Campus France website for your specific country of residence). There will be no possibility to apply directly if you miss this deadline.

3. Other International Applicants (Non-CEF)

Foreign applicants who are not residing in a CEF country (the countries listed in the section above) must apply through the eCandidat platform.

Timeline: The application period will start in March 2027.

Required Documents

You must upload all the required documents when you send your application. All application documents must be translated into English (sworn translations only). Translations of official diplomas and transcripts must be issued by your home university or certified by an authorized translator.

  • Passport or ID Card: Scanned copy. Check the expiration date: for a regular long-stay visa (more than 90 days), the expiration date must be at least 15 months after the day you plan to leave your country of origin.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Letter of Motivation
  • Transcripts of Records: Scanned copy.
  • Diploma: Scanned copy.
  • English Level Certificate: If applicable.
  • Optional: Recommendation letter(s), professional experience certificates, or any other document related to your study project to enhance your application.

Evaluation & Next Steps

Academic Evaluation: If your application meets the minimum requirements, it will proceed to the academic evaluation as described in the program's academic regulations.

Scholarship Evaluation: If you are eligible, the Scholarship Committee will evaluate your application in July.

You have been accepted? Congratulations!
If you receive an official notification of acceptance, you must create an account on your country of residence’s Campus France website, complete your files from the tab “Je suis accepté” (or “I am accepted”), and apply for a visa.
