The Université Marie et Louis Pasteur has extended partnerships with universities all over Europe through the ERASMUS+ program.

Thanks to this extensive network, students in the BDEEM Master's program have the opportunity to study abroad for one semester. This international immersion allows students to discover new academic perspectives and build a European professional network.

For instance, during the 2025-2026 academic year, some BDEEM students chose to study for a semester at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania).

In October 2022, UMLP joined the STARS EU (STrategic Alliance for Regional tranSitions). Officially recognized as a European University Alliance by the European Commission in July 2023, STARS EU brings together nine higher education institutions representing over 150,000 students.

All members are located in non-capital regions, deeply rooted in their territories, and share a common ambition: to build universities without borders that champion sustainable development and European values.

The Alliance fosters collaborations leading to new cooperative structures, tools, and shared educational programs. Each year, members meet for an annual conference—with the 2024 edition proudly hosted in Besançon on the UMLP campus.

An Alliance which benefits BDEEM Students:
Thanks to this alliance, we currently offer two new online lectures in our second year curriculum : Strategic Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility. These courses are provided directly by our partner, the Silesian University in Opava (Czech Republic).

With the initiative of the BDEEM team, the university also recently signed a strategic partnership with the prestigious Georg-August Universität Göttingen in Germany to facilitate student exchanges.

This collaboration has already lead BDEEM students to participate in the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) "Behavioural Approaches to Sustainability Challenges", an innovative format combining virtual learning with short-term physical mobility, allowing students to learn more about contemporary economic challenges alongside international peers.
